A set of powerful modular building blocks IP are available and can be used also beyond motor control. Field Oriented Control, Clark and Park Transforms, Space Vector Modulator, Sliding Mode Observers, Sinc3 Filters, PI Controllers, are offered with a complete set of documented building blocks for power applications.
Equipped with a powerful GUI based on National Instruments® Measurement Studio the system showcase the capabilities of Xilinx FPGA implementing a Networked Variable Frequency Drive driving two motors simultaneously.
All control parameters can be switched on the fly without loss of synchronization to optimize the efficiency of the driven motor.
This system is a high speed control for BLDC, PMSM and Steppers, and also a modern platform to acquire, manipulate and communicate in real time via Industrial Ethernet all the information to National Instruments® Measurement Studio for immediate visualization or post-processing.
